Jewellery-turned-streetwear label Ambush first launched in 2008 and is the brainchild of creative husband and wife duo Yoon Ahn and rapper Verbal.
The Tokyo-based label was a finalist for the LVMH Prize in 2017 and has since collaborated with brands Undercover, Nike and Off-White. As of SS19, Yoon also added Dior Men’s Director of Jewellery to her impressive roster.
Drawing inspiration from the Y2K-era, the pair construct trend-defying collections that look to celebrate the many different subcultures that make up Japan – from the underground hip hop scene to contemporary pop art motifs.
