Burberry Women joins Harrolds as the exclusive wholesale partner for FW19. Launching for the first time, the collection titled ‘Tempest’ is understood in two components; Burberry Lady and Burberry Girl.
In a continuation towards his vision of inclusivity, Riccardo Tisci’s second collection for Burberry symbolises a merging of two worlds and two generations that, in their own differences, find comfort in common ground.
Shot across two sets by two different photographers, the FW19 campaign reflects this theme of duality, with the oceanic backdrop providing a point of consistency, a powerful natural force that ultimately ties the two worlds together.
“I have been thinking a lot about England as a country of contrasts,” said Tisci, “from the structured to the rebellious and free. I wanted to celebrate how these elements coexist. My first season for Burberry was about starting to develop my alphabet for the house, it was about identifying new letters and new codes. Now, I’m starting to put these letters together to begin writing my book here – to form the first chapter of a new era at Burberry.”
Burberry Lady will be offered exclusively in Harrolds Sydney and Burberry Girl in Harrolds Melbourne and the Gold Coast.
