Designers Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant established Coperni in 2013 — its namesake being Prussian astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus. Coperni channels the new vanguard of Parisian It-girls, so it’s no surprise the design duo spent stints at the ateliers of Chanel and Balenciaga. They share an affinity for working with intrepid textiles and futuristic silhouettes, referring to their collections as “Spring Summer 2033,” — setting their garments in not merely the next season, but the next decade. “It’s about our hopes and dreams for the future”, they say.
