With references to the great Helmut Lang, Ann Demeulemeester, and Alessandro Dell'acqua, Nensi Dojaka makes her work with those she admires at the forefront of her mind. In her SS22 solo runway debut, Dojaka upped the ante on her signature ‘body-contouring’ and intricate tailoring. She drapes women in oversized blazers, slashed minidresses and slinky separates, spliced with mesh and gaps for bare skin to peek through. This is a new take on feminine dressing — mixing androgynous outerwear with a contradiction of provocative, asymmetric shapes underneath.
