  • PAYMENT METHODS

    Harrolds.com.au accepts payment via VISA, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Afterpay, Alipay, Zip Pay, Apple Pay and UnionPay.

    All prices in our online store are in Australian dollars. We will bill your method of payment in Australian dollars and your card company will convert the charges for you.

    Please note: payment will be debited from your account immediately after your order has been confirmed.

    The prices within the online store DO NOT include any relevant overseas customs duties, clearance or handling charges and other customs or import charges that you may incur.

    Any such additional charges will depend on the value of your order and will be on top of the price. You can use the NZ Customs Service online estimator at What's My Duty Estimator to estimate what, if any, duties you may need to pay.

    To comply with Australian export regulations we are required to declare the exact value of all items ordered and to mark them as dutiable 'merchandise'. We are also prohibited by law from marking the order as a 'gift', even if the order is placed with the intention of sending to a gift recipient.

  • PAYMENT SECURITY

    We endeavour to provide a secure safe platform on which to conduct online transactions. eStar and Windcave, our website platform and payment gateway, are level 1 PCI compliant service providers.

    Harrolds.com.au uses the industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, which encrypts your information as it is transmitted over the internet. This encryption scrambles details such as credit card number, billing details and delivery address so that other computers are unable to decipher the information, ensuring privacy and security.

    To ensure you are accessing a secure server and SSL is active, you can check for the unbroken key or closed lock symbol located generally either at the bottom left or top right of your browser window. You can also check this by looking at the URL. If SSL is active, then the first characters of that line will read ‘https’ rather than just ‘http’. It is important for you to be protected against unauthorised access to your password and to your computer. Ensure you log out when you have finished visiting Harrolds Online, especially if you access the site from a shared computer.

    Harrolds reserves the right to cancel any order, at which time we will immediately notify you by email or phone using the details provided. Harrolds will refund all monies paid using the original method received.

  • AFTERPAY

    Afterpay is an interest-free payment option that allows you to purchase items online and pay them off in four equal fortnightly instalments. 

    Purchasing with Afterpay

    To make a purchase using Afterpay you will need the following:

    1. An Australian or New Zealand Visa or MasterCard credit card or debit card. Afterpay does not accept any prepaid cards.

    2. You must be over 18 years of age.

    3. You must have an Australian or New Zealand residential address.

    4. You must have an Australian or New Zealand billing and delivery address.

    Using Afterpay online

    Please follow the below steps to complete a purchase using Afterpay:

    1. Add items to your shopping bag and checkout.

    2. Select Afterpay as your payment method – you will be redirected to the Afterpay website.

    3. Register or log in to your Afterpay account and confirm payment.

    Important information

    • There is a maximum order limit of $2,000.

    • For online purchases over $500 or for purchases by new Afterpay customers the first payment is required at the time of the purchase. The remaining three instalments will be deducted each fortnight over the next 6 weeks (8 weeks in total).

    • For online purchases under $500 from existing Afterpay customers, the first payment will be deducted 2 weeks after the purchase and the remaining three instalments will be deducted each fortnight over the next 6 weeks (8 weeks in total).

    • For in-store purchases the first payment is required at the time of the purchase. The remaining three instalments will be deducted each fortnight over the next 6 weeks (8 weeks in total).

    • Instalments are automatically deducted from the nominated credit/debit card when payment is due. Please ensure that you have funds available on your nominated card when payment is due. You can also choose to make a payment before the due date by logging into your Afterpay account.

    • If you fail to pay an instalment by the due date you will be charged a $10 late payment fee by Afterpay and will be charged a further $7 late payment fee if the payment has still not been paid within 7 days. Contact Afterpay if there are extenuating circumstances which will not allow you to make payments on or before the scheduled date.

    • If the amount of your order exceeds your Afterpay limit, you can continue with your order by paying a higher payment today. Your total order amount won’t change. You will see all the details on the Afterpay website during checkout.

  • ZIP PAY & ZIP MONEY

    To make a purchase using Zip you must:

    • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.

    • Be at least 18 years of age.

    • Have a valid Facebook or PayPal account in your own name.

    • Have a valid debit or credit card in your own name.

    • Have not declared bankruptcy or insolvency.

    How do I use Zip online?

    1. Add items to your shopping bag and checkout.

    2. Select Zip as your payment method – you will be redirected to the Zip website.

    3. Register or login to your Zip account and confirm payment.

    Important information

    Your first payment won’t be due until the end of the following month. When you open your account, Zip will set up a monthly payment of $40 (or less if the amount you owe is under $40). This will come from your linked debit or credit card on the last day of each month and will continue until your purchases are paid off. Please ensure that you have funds available on your nominated card when payment is due.

    There is a $6 monthly account fee, which is waived if your closing balance is paid by the due date. No balance, no fee and you’ll pay nothing upfront – there are no set up fees and no hidden charges.

    If you do not meet your minimum monthly repayment, a $5 late fee may apply.

  • INTERNET BANKING TRANSFERS

    The biggest advantage of internet banking is the convenience. 

    Banking online means accessing your bank account and carrying out financial transactions through the internet on your phone, tablet or computer. It's quick, is free in most cases and allows you to carry out a number of tasks such as transferring money, without having to visit or call your bank. 

    Once at the check out, select internet banking as a payment option and you will be given details to complete the transfer. 

    Harrolds will check the funds have been received and send you a confirmation email. We will dispatch goods as soon as the funds are cleared. 

    Please note: it may take several days for funds to clear.
