  • PRICING AND PAYMENT

    Harrolds.com.au accepts payment via VISA, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Afterpay, Klarna, Alipay, Zip Pay, WeChat Pay, Apple Pay, Cryptocurrency and UnionPay.

    *International prices displayed are an estimate only. The exact amount will be calculated and deducted by your bank or credit card institution and will be determined by the currency rate at the time of billing.

    All prices in our online store are in Australian dollars and be charged in AUD. International orders are exempt from GST. We will bill your method of payment in Australian dollars and your bank or credit card institution will convert the charges for you.

    Delivery costs will be charged in addition; such additional charges are clearly displayed where applicable and included in the 'Total Cost'.

    Please note: payment will be debited from your account immediately after your order has been confirmed.

    GST of 10% will be applied for Australian orders, which will be displayed within the checkout process. The prices within the online store DO NOT include any relevant overseas customs duties, clearance or handling charges and other customs or import charges that you may incur.

    Any such additional charges will depend on the value of your order and will be on top of the price. For New Zealand orders, you can use the NZ Customs Service online estimator at What's My Duty Estimator to estimate what, if any, duties you may need to pay.

    International orders are exempt from the Australian GST. The GST rebate will be deducted from the order total and displayed within the checkout process.

    To comply with Australian export regulations we are required to declare the exact value of all items ordered and to mark them as dutiable 'merchandise'. We are also prohibited by law from marking the order as a 'gift', even if the order is placed with the intention of sending to a gift recipient.

  • PAYMENT SECURITY

    We endeavour to provide a secure safe platform on which to conduct online transactions. eStar and Windcave, our website platform and payment gateway, are level 1 PCI compliant service providers.

    Harrolds.com.au uses the industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, which encrypts your information as it is transmitted over the internet. This encryption scrambles details such as credit card number, billing details and delivery address so that other computers are unable to decipher the information, ensuring privacy and security.

    To ensure you are accessing a secure server and SSL is active, you can check for the unbroken key or closed lock symbol located generally either at the bottom left or top right of your browser window. You can also check this by looking at the URL. If SSL is active, then the first characters of that line will read ‘https’ rather than just ‘http’. It is important for you to be protected against unauthorised access to your password and to your computer. Ensure you log out when you have finished visiting Harrolds Online, especially if you access the site from a shared computer.

    Harrolds reserves the right to cancel any order, at which time we will immediately notify you by email or phone using the details provided. Harrolds will refund all monies paid using the original method received.

    Afterpay is an interest-free payment option that allows you to purchase items online and pay them off in four equal fortnightly instalments. 

    Purchasing with Afterpay

    To make a purchase using Afterpay you will need the following:

    1. A Visa or MasterCard credit card or debit card. Afterpay does not accept any prepaid cards.

    2. You must be over 18 years of age.

    3. You must have a residential address in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA or the UK.

    4. You must have a billing and delivery address in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA or the UK.

    Using Afterpay online

    Please follow the below steps to complete a purchase using Afterpay:

    1. Add items to your shopping bag and checkout.

    2. Select Afterpay as your payment method – you will be redirected to the Afterpay website.

    3. Register or log in to your Afterpay account and confirm payment.

    Important information

    • Afterpay is available for orders placed in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA and the UK (Clearpay).

    • There is a maximum order limit of $3,000.

    • For online purchases over $500 or for purchases by new Afterpay customers the first payment is required at the time of the purchase. The remaining three instalments will be deducted each fortnight over the next 6 weeks (8 weeks in total).

    • For online purchases under $500 from existing Afterpay customers, the first payment will be deducted 2 weeks after the purchase and the remaining three instalments will be deducted each fortnight over the next 6 weeks (8 weeks in total).

    • For in-store purchases the first payment is required at the time of the purchase. The remaining three instalments will be deducted each fortnight over the next 6 weeks (8 weeks in total).

    • Instalments are automatically deducted from the nominated credit/debit card when payment is due. Please ensure that you have funds available on your nominated card when payment is due. You can also choose to make a payment before the due date by logging into your Afterpay account.

    • If you fail to pay an instalment by the due date you will be charged a $10 late payment fee by Afterpay and will be charged a further $7 late payment fee if the payment has still not been paid within 7 days. Contact Afterpay if there are extenuating circumstances which will not allow you to make payments on or before the scheduled date.

    • If the amount of your order exceeds your Afterpay limit, you can continue with your order by paying a higher payment today. Your total order amount won’t change. You will see all the details on the Afterpay website during checkout.

  • ZIP PAY & ZIP MONEY

    To make a purchase using Zip you must:

    • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.

    • Be at least 18 years of age.

    • Have a valid Facebook or PayPal account in your own name.

    • Have a valid debit or credit card in your own name.

    • Have not declared bankruptcy or insolvency.

    How do I use Zip online?

    1. Add items to your shopping bag and checkout.

    2. Select Zip as your payment method – you will be redirected to the Zip website.

    3. Register or login to your Zip account and confirm payment.

    Important information

    Your first payment won’t be due until the end of the following month. When you open your account, Zip will set up a monthly payment of $40 (or less if the amount you owe is under $40). This will come from your linked debit or credit card on the last day of each month and will continue until your purchases are paid off. Please ensure that you have funds available on your nominated card when payment is due.

    There is a $6 monthly account fee, which is waived if your closing balance is paid by the due date. No balance, no fee and you’ll pay nothing upfront – there are no set up fees and no hidden charges.

    If you do not meet your minimum monthly repayment, a $5 late fee may apply.

  • KLARNA

    Klarna is available for purchases in-store & online between $10 - $4,000.

    Klarna is an alternative payment method that allows you to shop now, receive now, and pay later via interest-free instalments.

    What are 4 interest-free instalments from Klarna?

    When you pay in 4 interest-free instalments with Klarna, your purchase is split into 4 payments automatically charged to your debit or credit card every 2 weeks. There is no interest and no fees when payments are made on time. It’s that easy.

    Is there a cost for paying in 4 interest-free instalments?

    There are no added costs or upfront fees when using this payment option. A late fee may be charged for payments made after the due date. View terms here.

    Will this impact my credit score?

    Klarna performs a credit check when you first create a one-time card in the shopping app or the first time you pay a seller with Klarna through their site. We may perform other credit checks for future purchases you make to keep our commitment to lending responsibly.

    The check is completed by a third party, Illion. This check will be visible on your credit report and could have a small impact on your credit score. Learn more.

    What happens if I cancel or return my order?

    As soon as we have received and accepted your cancellation or return, Klarna will cancel any future scheduled payments as well as refund any amounts due. The return will be reflected in the Klarna app immediately.

    Why have I not been offered pay in 4 interest-free instalments?

    Eligibility to pay in 4 interest-free instalments with Klarna is generated by algorithms that consider a number of factors. All orders are assessed individually, and if you have been accepted for a Klarna payment method before, it does not mean it will be offered for every order. In turn, being denied once does not mean you will be denied for all future orders.

    When is my payment due?

    The first instalment is due when your order has shipped. The remaining three payments will automatically charge every two weeks. Your payment schedule is sent via email and you can also access your payment schedule in the Klarna app by clicking on ‘Spending’, choosing the order you want to see, and then clicking on ‘Show Plan’.

  • CRYPTOCURRENCY

    Cryptocurrency payments are now available in store and online. 

    Once at checkout, select Cryptocurrency as your payment method. You will be redirected to the RelayPay Payment page where you can choose which cryptocurrency to pay with. Once selected, your order total will be converted to your cryptocurrency of choice. 

    A unique wallet address and a QR code is generated by RelayPay. You can send the requested amount to the wallet address either by copying it directly or scanning the QR code. 

    Once your payment appears on the blockchain, you will be redirected back to the Harrolds order confirmation page.

  • WECHAT PAY

    WeChat Pay is now available in-store and online.

    We Chat Pay is a quick alternative payment method that allows you to pay by QR Code Payment.

    Once at the checkout page, select WeChat Pay as a payment option, you will be redirected to an external link called Windcave.

    The QR code will appear and you can scan this via your mobile phone camera or WeChat app. After the payment is successful you will be redirected back to the Harrolds website with an order confirmation number.

  • GIFT CARDS

    Gift Card payments are now available online and in-store.

    Choose between a virtual Gift Card or Harrolds Gift Card to treat your loved ones to a gift you know they will love.

    To redeem, proceed to checkout and select Gift Card as your payment method. Simply input your Gift Card details to complete your purchase. Any outstanding balance can be settled via Credit Card.

    The balance limit for Gift Cards are $2,000AUD.
